WHAT IS IT?

It’s not a dish, per se. It’s a whole brand new cuisine that has taken the world by storm. It’s based on locality and seasonality. All of the ingredients need to come from a small radius around the restaurant.

WHAT IS IT?

Seasoned crispy pork belly with boiled potatoes. Complemented with parsley sauce

WHAT IS IT?

Fried meatballs made of minced veal and pork. Complemented with a thick beef gravy.

DISH – Herring

WHAT IS IT?

Fried fresh herring with a special paste of mustard and caviar, folded, rolled in flour and fried. A sauce made with sweet vinegar and seasonings is then added.

Note:

There are plenty of varieties of this dish and this restaurant serves a special one: herring fillets are seasoned with salt, sugar, onions, dill and red sandalwood. The fillet is soaked into the seasonings for 24 hours before consumption.

DISH – Salty Licorice – Delicious Destinations Copenhagen

WHAT IS IT?

A soft salty candy made from licorice root, ammonium fluoride and sea salt. The iconic sweet has a variety of favor layers such as peach, sea salt and white chocolate. (NDLR: There’s also an alcoholic liqueur with the same flavour sold across the country called Ga-Jol!)
