Anthony Bourdain (1956-2018) was the ultimate foodie traveller. He was more than a chef and a writer, of course, and his work cannot be simply categorized. That being said, his shows (A Cook's Tour, No Reservations, The Layover and Parts Unkown)  are full of invaluable information about food, dishes, restaurants, chefs, ingredients.
