Fill mixing glass three-quarters full of ice cubes.
Method
Pour gin, vermouth and brine into the mixing glass.
Stir with a bar spoon for about 10 seconds.
Then, let stand for about 7 minutes. The idea is to let the ice melt and dilute the mixture.

Pour from the mixing glass into the martini glass using the Hawthorne strainer or use the bar spoon to block the ice and pour very slowly. Don't use a fine mesh sieve.
Presentation
The amount of liquid should almost fill the martini cup.
Stick two stuffed olives on a cocktail stick and place in the bottom of the cocktail.
(Optional) If the weather is warm, you can add a small ice cube to the cocktail.
Notes
If there is more than one glass to fill, use a larger glass container and multiply the recipe quantities.
