They had soup dumplings, which have broth and meat enclosed inside the dumpking. It was served with ginger and vinegar as a dip. They also had a big dumpling called Kung Pao that is eaten with a straw.

WHAT IS IT?

They had fermented “stinky” tofu, which is steamed then deep-fried with a pepper and garlic sauce. They also had Sichuan beef noodles with vinegar.
