For a good while now, eating and drinking in the UK has had a fairly bad reputation after numerous stereotypes have failed to fade away. It’s a somewhat outdated view, though, as the UK’s food scene continues to go from strength to strength. Ultimately, if you hear someone say British food is bad, then they probably haven’t been to the right places.
A diverse city full of different cultures and influences from around the world, London, in particular, is a place full of foodies. These are the same people who consume endless amounts of cooking shows on television and shows like Now We Feast on YouTube, follow Jay Rayner’s reviews in the Guardian, and even dabble in the occasional food-themed slot game, such as Bushi Sushi or Gordon Ramsay’s very own Hell’s Kitchen game. These very same people are also raving about some of London’s top places to eat, particularly when it comes to street food. In fact, London’s street food scene has never been so good, with a huge choice available for the most discerning of eaters.
